PMY | Logistics & Warehouse Manager - UK

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Logistics & Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee the efficient operations of our Tamworth warehouse and manage equipment delivery and configuration. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and flexibility, especially during peak periods.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and configure equipment as per project requirements

  • Pack and transport equipment securely

  • Manage stock levels and order supplies from key vendors

  • Develop efficient storage and transport solutions

  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and conduct deliveries and collection

  • Produce operational reports and maintain accurate documentation

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

  • Manage the Equipment Tracking System and troubleshoot any data/process gaps

  • Lead and support projects as needed, maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experienced Manager with operations and logistics expertise

  • Ideally experienced in the events sector

  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in technology trends

  • Strong communicator and active listener, adept at problem-solving

  • Thrives in an environment with multiple demands, efficiently prioritising tasks

  • Flexibility required for early starts, late finishes, and potential weekend work.
