WJHW | AV Systems Designer - US

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an AV Systems Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the conception, design, and implementation of cutting-edge audiovisual, multimedia, and presentation display systems. Drawing upon your expertise and experience, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and specifications tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.

This role is ideally based in San Antonio or Dallas, Texas but we will consider applications from outside this area.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include design of AV, Multi-media, and presentation display systems, development of power requirements, conduit configuration, heat loads, system design drawings (device locations on floor plans, functional diagrams, rack elevations, plate/panel details, specialized details, etc.). and specifications to company format. Excellent communication skills interfacing with clients, engineers and other design team members.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Enjoys working in a fast paced technology oriented environment.

  • Experience with MS Word and Excel required.

  •  CTS certifications highly desirable.

  • Experience with IPTV/RF distribution and/or other low voltage systems a benefit.

  • Modest AutoCad/Acad LT and Ease skills an asset but not required.

  • Experience/knowledge of Revit MEP is also desirable, but not required.


The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a group of sound system consultants and technical system designers on a variety of projects, including sports venues, education, corporate, office and civic buildings.
