POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technology Project Procurement Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end procurement process. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in contract negotiation, vendor and supply chain management, and ISO 9001 compliance to support high-quality, scalable deployments across diverse environments.

This role ensures that all procurement activities are performed in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and budget constraints while also optimising the supply chain and maintaining strong supplier relationships.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer

  • Identify and define requirements for responses to a customer brief, supporting the response process to secure new business.

  • Actively contribute to the development of proof-of-concept solutions.

  • Create supporting documentation that generally outline what built solutions do and how to support them in the company knowledge base.

Procurement Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for digital signage components that align with project goals and organisational standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical and commercial requirements for hardware procurement.

  • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with ISO 9001 quality management standards.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors based on capability, compliance, cost-efficiency, and quality assurance.

  • Lead negotiations for pricing, delivery, service level agreements (SLAs), and warranty terms.

  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships while ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 requirements, including documentation and corrective actions.

ISO 9001 Quality & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure procurement processes meet ISO 9001 standards for quality, traceability, and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain accurate records, supplier evaluations, and audit trails as required by ISO 9001.

  • Support internal and external audits and facilitate compliance training related to procurement quality processes.

Project Coordination

  • Align procurement schedules with project milestones and installation deadlines.

  • Work closely with deployment and logistics teams to support timely, multi-site rollouts.

  • Ensure all procured components meet regulatory and performance standards, including interoperability and certification requirements.

Cost Optimisation & Risk Mitigation

  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives through competitive bidding, long-term contracts, and volume leverage.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, lead times, and supply chain disruptions.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate procurement reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, including status updates, budget tracking, and supplier KPIs.

  • Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation to support quality assurance and ISO audits.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of procurement experience in technology or digital signage projects.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and experience implementing compliance within procurement processes.

  • In-depth understanding of media players, routers, and LCD/LED display technology.

  • Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical abilities.

  • Proficient in procurement software and ERP platforms.

  • Background in AV/digital signage implementations across retail, hospitality, or transportation industries.

  • Experience managing international suppliers and navigating global logistics challenges.

  • Familiarity with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards in tech hardware procurement.


This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within PMY's digital signage, display, creative content, and experiential company, TechMedia. The role will be based in the Caringbah office in Sydney with the option to work some days from home.
